Hi Everyone and welcome to “Performing Arts”

Don’t forget Scout Christmas Carols Saturday 5th December Roma Street Parklands 6.30pm – put that date in your diary now!

The great news is we are holding a Christmas Carols in 2015 and will be again be working with Brisbane Regional Youth Orchestra (BRYO) -so lock the date in your diary now – Saturday 5th December, Roma Street Parklands – Albert Street Amphitheatre – 6.30pm

This is a great opportunity to be part of the Choir or the Support team – we would be really keen to hear from Members of the Association who are interested in participating in this activity. Rehearsals (4) will be in November with the Carols on December 5th. It was a great success last year so make sure you get in early

If you would like to be part of the Choir or the support team please visit carols.qpat.org.au for further information.

Alternatively simply come along and enjoy a night of Christmas Cheer and Carols.
Look forward to seeing you and your groups there!

Joey Mobs/ Cub Scout Packs– these programs are available now to be run in your section by members of the Performing Arts Team – if you would like a program run simply drop me an email at bc.arts@qldhq.scouts.com.au and I shall arrange for someone to contact you and organise one of these exciting programs. That’s right we come to you at your group and run the program for you.

So get in early for 2016 – Book a date for your Mob or Pack now!

Revues on stage

I write this article after just coming for Wonargo Revue – presenting their 44th Season. A wonderful night’s entertainment for all the audience

I also had the pleasure of visiting Rochedale Revue during the September School Holidays another quality show from the young people in Scouting (Guiding)

That’s all for this month – so make sure you are participating in Performing Arts! (and I will see you all at the Carols)
