By the end of April 2018 Scouts Australia is adding three (3) New E-Learning Modules to the Scout Central Platform

  • Work Skills for Recreation (AA WORK REC)
  • Follow Environmental Impact Practices (AA ENVIRO)
  • Assisting in Conducting Outdoor Activities (AA ASSIST)

These three (3) Modules being available will now make it a lot easier for a Youth or Adult Member to gain their Certificate II in Outdoor Recreation.

The Certificate II in Outdoor Recreation is made up of the following requirements:

  • 5 core units
  • 10 elective units, consisting of:
  • all the units in any one of Groups A to S
  • the remaining to make up the required 10 elective units from General electives, or any of the groups above; up to 3 of these may be selected elsewhere in SIS10 or any current accredited course or other Training Package, and must be first packaged at AQF level 2 or 3.
