Due to unforeseen circumstances the climbing wall/abseiling tower will be unavailable during Joey Scout Jaunt this year. While this advice has saddened us, we have been able to secure an alternative activity for this event.

With the approval of Daryl Scott, Chief Commissioner of Queensland, and the support and agreement of John Barritt, Assistant Region Commissioner (Resources), John will run an ARCHERY base providing our Joey Scouts with an experience not accessed by many of our Joey Scouts.

Please amend your PARENT PERMISSION form (C4) to reflect parent’s approval for their child to participate in the archery activity.

The boundaries of Joey Scout Jaunt will change due to the amendments in our program. Upon arrival, please go straight to the administration tent for directions on where you will be able to setup.

We apologise for the short notice and any inconvenience this change in program will cause, but believe the additional activity will be well received by the Joey Scouts.

Any questions regarding this change please contact me via email.

Thank you for your past and present support of Joey Scout Jaunt.

Branch Commissioner (Joey Scouts)
