Brisbane Pride March 23 Sept

Join us on 23 September!  

At Scouts Queensland we are an inclusive scouting community that is open to all, regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender diversity is supported and respected. Since 2019 youth and adult members of Scouts Queensland have been participating in Brisbane Pride March.

This month is the annual Brisbane Pride March is on Saturday 23 September 2023, if you or your family are interested in joining us, please register your expression of interest for more details. The march starts at Queens Park in Brisbane CBD, walking across the Victoria Bridge, turning left onto Grey Street, right turn into Glenelg Street and finishing at Musgrave Park somewhere near intersection of Glenelg and Cordelia Streets.

Uniformed members are invited to wear full uniform and supporters may walk alongside our group. Youth members under 18 years of age must attend with a leader, parent, or guardian, please speak with the leaders in your group to organise this.

This family fun day is all about celebrating the LGBQTIA+ community and to represent our inclusive scouting community. Fill out the Expressions of Interest Form to receive further details of what to bring, where to meet and more.
