Security and Privacy

The Scout Association of Australia, Queensland Branch Inc will not reveal your personal information to external organisations except for the purposes of fulfilling your order.

When purchasing from this site, your financial details are passed through a secure server using the latest (TLS 1.0) 256-bit SSL (secure sockets layer) encryption technology. 128-bit SSL encryption is the current industry standard and 256-bit outperforms this standard.

If you have any questions regarding our security policy, please contact our customer support centre through applications@register.scoutsqld.com.au. Where you are using an older browser that does not support the current encryption method, the server will re-negotiate at 128-bit encryption and may use SSL 2.0 or 1.0, these are still industry standard protocols.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and will keep the Association indemnified against any claim, demand, injury, damage, loss, expense, cost or liability (whether direct or indirect) made against or suffered by the Association in connection with your use of this site, your breach of these Terms of Use or your breach of any rights of third parties.

The Association may change the prices published on this website at any time. While every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of prices and information displayed on the website, the Association reserves the right to accept or reject your offer for any reason, including without limitation, the unavailability of any product, an error in the price or the product description posted on this site, or an error in your order. We may require additional verification or information before accepting any order. We reserve the right to restrict sales to retail quantities when supplying resellers and distributors.

Purchasing and Payment

For each online order, you must pay:
• the applicable price for the relevant goods confirmed by the Association; and
• the delivery and handling fee specified on the website at that time.

Your order and credit card details are safe and secure. All personal and credit card information provided to the Association is encoded using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology, an encryption protocol that protects data as it travels over the Internet. We are unable to accept COD charges. Payment must be cleared before the goods are dispatched.
