  • What is Scouting?

Today’s Scouts can take part in an extraordinary variety of outdoor activities, from ‘traditional Scouting skills’ such as camping and bushcraft, through to more extreme challenges such as abseiling, overnight hiking, rafting, canoeing, canyoning, snow activities, rock climbing, sailing… even flying!

  • Adults in Scouting

Leaders are the backbone of our movement. If you are looking for an adventure and the chance to help young people build a solid and positive foundation for their futures than you should become a Leader.

  • Child protection and safety

Children and young people have the right to be emotionally and physically safe at all times. This document details the policy and procedures of Scouts Queensland, which are designed to ensure, that as far as is possible, our volunteers, leaders, and members may enjoy the Scout program in the safest
    and most secure environment.
