One Program One Journey
Scouting is still operating during this challenging time facing Queensland. We are moving our resources online to support Scout Groups in the delivery of the Youth Program. Find out more here.
Life as a Joey Scout is full of discovery and excitement! We participate in a variety of activities from cooking and craft, to paddling, climbing and day-hiking in the great outdoors.
We love exploring and participate in camping, canoeing, navigation and day-hiking. If you enjoy games and learning new skills then you’ll love being a Cub Scout!
We take charge of expeditions, cook meals and learn to safely plan our own adventures. Scouts actively develop leadership and outdoor survival skills and learn how to teach these skills to others.
We never turn down a good challenge and love to push ourselves to go further in canoeing, abseiling, rock climbing, archery, hiking and personal development.
We are independent and resourceful. Rovers love furthering their skills through Adventurous Activities, serving the community and seizing once-in-a-lifetime opportunities!
Just a reminder to wear Orange, 21st March 2020 for Harmony Day. A day of celebration of our cultural diversity and a day of cultural respect for everyone who calls Australia home. At Scouts we take pride in our wide range of diversity, and believe that we follow the message of Harmony Day ‘everyone belongs’ every day!
