Cunningham District Camp

What a weekend! Cunningham District put on an event that will keep its members coming back for more. The weather was fantastic, despite some trepidation. Over the weekend youth members participated in seven different outdoor activities: canoeing, sailing, tubing, crate stacking, archery, orienteering and fishing! And they had a ball! It’s safe to say everyone slept well on Sunday night.

Thanks go to the youth members for their exemplary behaviour and attitude for the duration of the event. Thanks also to the parent helpers – Chris and Derek – for their efforts in setting up, packing down and everything in between. Leaders – Rama, Seagull and Rhino – must also be acknowledged for their mammoth efforts in organising and supervising the youth for the entire weekend. Thanks also to the parents who transported our youth members and made sure they had all their gear packed.

Finally, and most importantly, we express our gratitude to the Leaders of Cunningham District, the Warwick Sailing Club and Region Leaders Bungee and Gecko.
