The show incorporates singing, dancing and acting and we aim to put on an entertaining show that is both original and challenging to the cast members, allowing them opportunities that may not be available to them otherwise.   During rehearsals we promote teamwork and encourage the cast to make new friends.   Our first show was in 1983 and we have produced a new show every two years since then.  The show is open to all members aged over 8 ½ by opening night so yes even the leaders can get involved. 

The show provides youth members and leaders the opportunity to learn new skills and have new experiences both on and off the stage and by the end of the season even the shyest of members are more confident.   Participating in The Rochedale Revue can also contribute to both the Scouting and Guiding award scheme and achievements.  We provide the community with a positive look at today’s youth who are dedicated and work hard, they give up many weekends to put on a great show.  More importantly we give the youth a positive look at themselves and at what they can really achieve if they put in the effort.
