Meet the new team!

Nikketah Cuneo – Deputy Chief Commissioner Member Experience

Currently Branch Commissioner International, National Co-ordinator for Better World Scouting and a Member of the WOSM Audit Committee.

Nikketah is also the chair of the Asia Pacific Region Youth Engagement Sub Committee, has been a member of Queensland Branch Executive Committee, Scouts Australia National Finance Committee, National Executive Committee and National Operations Committee. Nikketah has been a Joey Scout Leader and Assistant Cub Scout Leader, as well as having been a Scout, Venturer Scout and Rover Scout.

Professionally Nikketah is a CPA and holds a Bachelor of Business (Professional Accounting).

Nick Warwick – Assistant Chief Commissioner Youth Program

Currently Branch Commissioner Joey Scouts. Nick has been an adult helper, Group Chairman, Assistant Joey Scout Leader and a Branch Adviser Queensland Youth Program Team. Nick has been a strong driver behind initiatives within the Joey Scout Section, that he will be able to bring across all Sections of the Youth Program Team.
Nick has been heavily involved in National Working Group prioritising Scouts I Terrain development.
Nick was an activity leader at AJ 2019 and was a line leader at Cuboree 2018 and 2021.

Chrissy Johnston – Assistant Chief Commissioner People and Culture

Currently Assistant Branch Commissioner Adult Training and Development.  Chrissy has been involved with the Cub Scout Section for many years and has used her skills to now support the delivery of training to our adults. Professionally Chrissy has strong skills around people management recognising the importance of respect and trust to create cohesive and high performing teams. Chrissy holds a Bachelor of Law and Bachelor of Arts both from University of Queensland.

 

Jean Clifford OAM – Assistant Chief Commissioner Major Events

Currently Deputy Chief Commissioner Adults in Scouting. Jean is the National Child Safety Commissioner for Scouts Australia. Jean brings considerable experience to the major events portfolio having attended over 10 Australian Scout Jamborees in many different roles, as well as being an active member of many other major event committees, Gang Show, Triple S. Jean has been a Cub Scout Leader and a Scout Leader. Jean is also an Honorary Life Member of Scouts Queensland and currently a member of the Queensland Branch Executive Committee.  

 

Trevor O’Hara – Assistant Chief Commissioner Sustainability/Operations

Trevor O’Hara Director AJ2025 (Safety & Security/Transport).  Trevor has been a Cub Scout Leader, Group Leader, District Commissioner and was the Production Director of the Brisbane Gang Show for 7 years. Trevor has worked as a member of the Queensland Contingent at over 6 Australian Jamborees. Trevor was also a member of the Queensland Branch Executive Committee 2014- 2015.
