Que had heard a lot about Jamboree-on-the-Air (JOTA) and Jamboree-on-the-Internet (JOTI). So when the opportunity arose, she hopped into the car and went up the M1 to Rocky Creek Scout Camp, Beaver Masters District, Landsborough. There were lots of Joeys, Cubs and Scouts running around doing all sorts of activities in the rain. Just next to the Blacksmith’s Forge, there was a Marque set up, and Que managed to say Hello and meet the two radio operators who were from the Sunshine Coast and Caboolture Radio Clubs. Despite the rain, it was very clear that the youth members were keen to have a go at operating the radios.
