Whilst Que was doing the rounds at Rocky Creek at the Jamboree-on-the-Air (JOTA), Matilda was at Chinchilla, attending the same JOTA event. She met several leaders, got them to sign her logbook and gave out souvenir cards. Chinchilla is located within Beauaraba District which is in the Darling Downs Region. Matilda found out that Chinchilla is the ‘Melon Capital of Australia’, and hosts the Melon festival every 2nd year in February.
