The 2015 Calamvale Carnival features 22 EKKA style rides, 25 food outlets ,6 hours of free daytime stage entertainment, over 50 market stalls, roving performers, buskers, sideshow alley, free interactive activities, calendar firemen, us (Scouts) and an evening concert that included the Justice Crew.calamvale

calamvale2Using the climbing wall as a large attraction, Algester setup both a promotional marquee, key ring making, giant Ker-plunk and sample bags (which included. a rope, knotting sheet and promotional products) and with a lively Rex, we were able to provide a professional display of Scouting. With a range of activities all the volunteers gave the wider community a positive image of local Scouting. Algester Group Leader, Patrick, indicated how enjoyed the constant refilling of the balls for Ker-plunk.

Every opportunity we can get out into the public eye and promote our brand will help to grow our movement, could be a major event, school fete or an activity in a public park (Be seen be known become the pre-eminent and dynamic Movement for youth).
