Bowen Venturer Scout 
Shaunie Higgins was presented with her Queen’s Scout Award recently at a function which was well attended by family and friends, Venturer Scouts from Bowen and Mackay, Region Leaders, and a number of leaders who have guided her along the way in her scouting journey.
Stories were exchanged, and it was stated that Shaunie was a quiet achiever, however she was always there to support others and be involved in all activities and many fundraising activities.

Karingal Campsite
During the Easter School holidays Obstacle Obsessions offered Kids Boot Camps every weekday at Karingal campsite.
19 children on the first day spent five hours playing games,exploring,climbing, running and improving their agility, balance and ball skills.
A great time was had by all.
