REMINDER: if you receive a suspension letter it is for good reason and you may not participate in Scouting at all until such time as the reason for suspension is withdrawn. This includes Rover Scouts.
We have had recent issues of people trying to attend activities, training courses etc., while under suspension. Non-compliance with a suspension may lead to termination from the movement. Remember that you will not be covered for insurance if you do not comply with the direction given you.
If the suspension is because of Blue Card issues, this is a legislative requirement, and you are caught still participating while the issues are resolved it could lead to a personal fine of up to $20,000.
If the suspension is because you have not completed your obligatory training (a National policy) access to e-learning is still available and reinstatement will take place immediately upon completion of the modules concerned.
Please ensure the members concerned understand this.
