National has advised that they are looking for Host Families for 8 Danish Scouts, Japanese Scouts and are expecting 10 Indonesian Scouts. They are due to arrive from about the 28th June and depart by 13th August. Each group have different dates! Placements need to be made urgently so they can book flights to the various capital cities.
I am seeking interested Families with a Venturer Scout aged Youth Member (14 to 17yrs – Boys & Girls) who will be interested in hosting a visiting Venturer Scout either from Denmark, Japan or Indonesia. The Exchange Venturer Scout will be part of your Family for their visit and participate at School, Scouting and Family during this time. This will be an ideal opportunity for your Family to participate in International Scouting and show our visitors what it is like to live in Australia.
Families need to be in place asap so those Countries can organise flights for their Venturer Scouts going to Queensland.
