GET PUMPED, GET EXCITED, AND GET READY for your chance to compete at this year’s URBAN CHALLENGE with heaps of COOL PRIZES to win for your unit!
Urban Challenge is on the 13th to the 15th of October 2017! It is an Amazing Race style event through the heart of Brisbane’s CBD where you will have the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of challenges scattered.
The cost for:
All Participants: $65 (Apply at: https://register.scoutsqld.com.au/login.asp)
All Leaders and Rovers who are staying the weekend: $35 (Apply at: https://register.scoutsqld.com.au/login.asp)
All Leaders and Rovers who just want to visit for the day and lend a hand: $0, zip, zilch! (Apply at: https://goo.gl/forms/hzP3uF1FGvO8Wbae2)
Please note all Applications must accompany payment by the 15th of September 2017 and all Venturers to send us their hard copy forms will receive an extra 10 bonus points each if we receive it before the 15th of September.
If you have not submitted and paid your application by the 15th of September you must incur the cost of your own transport for the duration of the weekend and will still be charged the same fee.
Our base camp is at the QUEENSLAND SCOUT CENTER which is located at 32 Dixon St Auchenflower.
Parking is limited so we encourage everyone to car pool in their groups where possible.
As per usual all Venturers will camp outside so remember to bring something to sleep under and/or in and Leaders and Rovers will sleep inside.
The weekend is FULLY CATERED – with the exception of Saturday lunch where you have the opportunity to buy something while you are out and about (So don’t forget your change. Alternatively you can make a sandwich before you leave.
Check-in will open at 5pm on the Friday Afternoon an Check Out will occur at 1pm on the Sunday.
