Underwater Adventure – Come Try Scuba Diving
Scouts Queensland is now launching Scuba in conjunction with Brisbane Dive Academy. If you are interested in trying out Scuba then there is an opportunity on the 2nd of February at Langlands Park Pool from 9:00am on the 2nd of February 2019. There is a cost of $20 to cover equipment hire and you will need to register with Brisbane Dive Academy by emailing them on enquiries@brisbanediveacademy.com.au Make sure you mention you are with Scouts Queensland. Please register as soon as possible.
Underwater Adventure – Open Water Scuba Diver Certification
Scouts Queensland is now launching Scuba Diving in conjunction with Brisbane Dive Academy. If you are interested in becoming a Scuba diver then there is an Open Water Diving certification course on the weekend of the 23rd and 24th of March. The cost is $550.00 and you will need to register with Brisbane Dive Academy by emailing them on enquiries@brisbanediveacademy.com.au Make sure you mention you are with Scouts Queensland. Please register as soon as possible as you must complete e-learning before the course and undergo a medical before being able to undertake the practical component of the course.
By doing the course with Brisbane Dive Academy it is possible to obtain a unit of competency that can count towards a Cert II, III or IV in Outdoor Recreation through Scouting for anyone interested in obtaining Outdoor Recreation qualifications.
