Scouting in Queensland is supported by the efforts of staff at the Scout Headquarters at Auchenflower. The staff carry out a range of duties the include coordinating many areas of scouting such as finances, campsite booking, property, enrolments, training courses, advertising, fundraising, support groups and IT systems. When Matilda heard that there was an opportunity to meet all the staff, and thank them for their efforts, she attended the office meeting at the invitation of the office manager.
