2019 introduced changes to many scouting processes. There was a lot of new software to contend with such as Office 365, Xero and Care Monkey, and in addition, the New Youth Program was being introduced in stages, with the New Logo, and Outdoor Adventure Skills program which required “benchmarking” in order for youth members to be able to transition from the old to new system. Some of the Archer District Group Leaders needed to be briefed, and so Matilda followed one of the Region Development Support Officers out to Algester for a briefing where she met some familiar faces and made new friends.
