Grovely Mitchelton Cub Scouts participated in the Sir Leslie Wilson District Founders Day event held at Grinstead Park on Saturday. They commemorated the birthday of Baden-Powell in the chapel and engaged in tree planting and navigation activities.
Councillor Andrew Wines, who was warmly welcomed by our Cub Scouts on February 5 and scarfed up by the Cub Scouts and the Chief Commissioner, expressed a strong desire to take a photograph with the Cub Scouts who scarfed him up. It was a pleasure to see Councillor Wines at the event, and we appreciated his enthusiasm for connecting with the Cub Scouts.
