An acknowledgement of Country is an opportunity for anyone to show respect for Traditional Owners and the continuing connection of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to Country. The following text may be added to email footers:
Scouts Queensland acknowledges and pays respect to the past, present and future Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we Scout and the continuation of cultural, spiritual and educational practices of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
