You may have already heard that Brownsea Water Activities Centre has just had some renovations completed and is looking better than ever.
Whilst the centre is open for accommodation bookings, we are still in the process of re-developing a water activities team to run activities in support of youth members. The Brownsea Water Activities Centre is staffed by volunteer members of scouting, who are appointed to the Branch Headquarters Team, but attached to Brownsea, and contribute their time and skills to provide exciting adventures for our membership.
With that in mind, if you are interested in joining the new-look team, specialising in either canoeing/kayaking or sailing, or want to work with us as a safety power boat operator, we would love to hear from you.
Similarly, if you are currently qualified in any of these areas, and are interested in helping out a few times a year (when you are available), or want to keep your logbook hours up, we would love to hear from you.
