Scouts Queensland were grateful to the 31st Expeditionary Marine Unit of the USS Bonhomme Richard for their support of BP Park at Samford.
28 Marines spent the day helping the volunteers and staff cleaning areas and digging out paths around the Snow Centre (training areas).
Some staff were lucky enough to be able to tour the amazing ship and learn more about the amphibious assault ship. Scouts Qld passes on condolences to the crew and families of the marines involved with the recent tragedy.
