Training in Capricorn Region
It is great to see Leader Training being completed in Capricorn Region. This year eleven Leaders have completed and been presented with their Wood badges.

Roma Scout Group celebrates 100 years
Despite storms and rain, over 80 people gathered to celebrate 100 years of Scouting in Roma. As well as current members, past members as far back as the 1940s were present. After parade, the cake was cut for afternoon tea. A large collection of memorabilia including old uniforms, leader records, photos and books were on display. Great fun was had by all who participated in or cheered on the Scout Olympics including 10 legged races, billy boiling races, egg and spoon races and tug-o-war. A delicious dinner of roast beef and vegetables followed by sticky date pudding was cooked over the fire. Unfortunately the planned traditional campfire had to be cancelled due to excessive rain.
