Welcome to Joey Scout Jaunt 2017, to an event full of surprises, fun and excitement, where parents can come and observe their child / children participating in wonderful activities. For new and existing Joey Scout Leaders it will be your opportunity to show off the Mob and provide bases / activities that will surprise the Joey Scouts, while at the same time learning, having fun and been amazed.
Providing these bases will also give other Joey Scout Leaders an opportunity to view and learn new skills and activities, which they can take back to their Mob. The success of this activity relies upon the support of Joey Scout Leaders and Parents right across the state.
You will also note that we will have a GATEWAY with which we ask you to pass through to access Boysfield, and that we have set up boundaries in which we ask you to set up your bases. We have implemented these changes to improve the management/security of the activity and safety of the Joey Scouts; we ask for your support in ensuring their successful implementation.
This is YOUR day, take it with both hands and enjoy it to the max. I look forward to seeing you all there.
If you have a small Mob or are very new to the role please try to team up with another Mob – maybe from your District or Region. It’s important that we provide plenty of options for both the Joey Scouts and Leaders.
