Matilda had heard a lot about the Outdoor Activities Scheme (OAS) and benchmarking and wanted to find out more. She heard that a, OAS session was being held at Morningside Scout Hall by an old friend and went over to hear the presentation. When she got there, she was surprised to find out that a Cub Leadership course was being run, and there were Cubs and leaders all over the lawn. She watched them at parade, and took a picture with the leaders. The District Commissioner, Region Commissioner and Branch Commissioner (Cubs) were all present for the event. Matilda even met a leader who was about to receive his wood badge.
