There was an opportunity to visit a Sea Scout Hall, and Matilda followed an RDSO to a OAS Benchmarking meeting at Bayside Sea Scout Group at Manly. There were lots of cubs, scouts, venturer, rovers and leaders who attended the presentation and asked lots of questions. The hall had lots of artefacts, including an indoor ship’s flagpole, watch and compass. There were also lots of old photos of scouts with their wearing their white flattops, and leaders and PLs with their bosun-pipes.
