Congratulation to 2018 Comm Games – Decathlon – Bronze Medalist – Cedric Dubler – a former St Johns Wood Scout member.

What an amazing effort – you and your family should be very proud.

On Good Friday Liam, Kathryn and myself had a wonderful time at Government house. They loved meeting the Governor and also his dog Gavel.

The whole experience was wonderful and going inside Government house and looking around the ground floor was great.

3 members of Ashmore Scout Group be a part of the Queens baton Relay.

On April the 1st we had Leesa Kennedy “Waikerie” our Scout Leader run in Helensvale, we then had on the 2nd of April Anne Whitaker “Echidna) our Joey Leader, Anne ran in Highland Park. Then on the same day we had a Scout from our troop, Jessica ran in the afternoon in Bundall.

   

 

 

 

 

We also had a few of us work at the games as Games Shapers.

Jodie Barnes was a spectator services volunteer at Carrara Stadium

 

 

 

 

Jemma Davies said her team had two other scouts, Emma Neeland, and Kate Neeland.

They were a part of the medal ceremonies presentation team 7 working alongside the ADF to perform those ceremonies.

 

 

 

Rachel Devine was also part of a medal ceremony presentation team and got to present to the winner of the Bronze medal Aussie weightlifting superstar Francois Etoundi.
