June has flown past in Queensland Rovers as the new executive settle into their roles and we prepare for some of the biggest events for our year.

Dolphin Rover Crew ran and hosted a most exciting Central Queensland June Moot over the long weekend in Gladstone which Rovers from right across the State attended. The event saw out the last June long weekend in style, constructing catapults and ballistas, racing chariots, competing in iron gut challenges, attending the Region Scout Camp, and completing a touristy scavenger hunt out to Calliope and the surrounds. Congratulations to the Dolphin Rover Crew for this fantastic success.

On the training front, three Rovers and an Assistant Rover Adviser completed their basic practical training course. This course set these Rovers up to attend the upcoming Agoonoree and take back some new skills to their Crews and leadership positions. We look forward to seeing their development in the Movement and their sharing of skills over the coming months. A number of Rovers are also involved in the Camp LUII Venturer Scout training camp to adjudicate the well-researched and established debates that the Venturer Scouts have prepared as part of their training.

We also had a number of Rovers attend the Victorian-run Mudbash. Fun was had by all and commendations go back to the Mudbash team for another successful event.
